Martin Chivers

Chivers emerged through the ranks at Southampton and made his debut for the club in September 1962 at the young age of 17. He helped the club gain promotion in to the first division in 1967 and after spending five years with Southampton, he scored a prolific 97 league goals for the club. Chivers enjoyed a long spell at Spurs as he won the league cup final with them on two occasions defeating Aston Villa and Wolves. In total he made 24 appearances for the England national football team and scored 13 goals for his nation.
