Peter Osgood

Osgood started his playing career at Chelsea in December 1964 and went on to spend ten years at the club, between 1964 and 1974, making nearly 280 appearances for the club and scored over 100 goals, helping Chelsea win he European Cup winners cup in 1971. He was sold to Southampton in March 1974 for a club record of £275,000 and he helped the Saints win the 1976 FA cup final. He made over 130 appearances for the Saints before finishing his career of with Norwich city and then Chelsea.

Bobby Stokes

Stokes made his debut for Southampton in the year 1968 and went on to spend nearly ten years at the club notching up over 225 appearances and scored 40 goals for the saints. He was an integral of the Southampton side that won the 1976 FA cup final. He moved to Portsmouth in 1977, spending one season at the club.
